Repeatable playbookestablished for religious services category
Framework

A religious technology platform enabling users to book Poojas and spiritual services online across India was operating in an emerging, first-of-kind digital category. With no paid media history and a niche but highly motivated target audience, the core challenge was identifying who the buyers were, how they discovered such services, and how to communicate the value of booking Poojas digitally versus relying on a local pandit.
We identified three core audience personas — urban professionals seeking convenience, NRIs wanting to stay connected to religious traditions, and families planning ceremonies — and built channel strategy around each. Google Ads was the primary channel for occasion-based intent capture; Meta Ads was used for community-driven awareness and diaspora reach.
Conducted keyword research targeting religious occasion-based search terms — specific Puja names, auspicious date searches, and city-based pandit searches
Built Google Ads campaigns around high-intent transactional terms tied to specific Puja types and occasions
Created Meta Ads targeting interest-based audiences around religious occasions, festivals, and regional communities
Optimised landing pages for specific Puja categories to improve Quality Score and conversion rate
Set up conversion tracking for bookings and enquiries with proper attribution
Ran festival-timed campaign bursts aligned with peak Puja booking seasons
